Attorney from the Universidad de Chile, graduated in 1983.

 

He has worked as a litigant since he began practicing in domestic banks, and has professionally advised various domestic and foreign companies. In these endeavors, he has been responsible for undertaking cases of national relevance.

 

Until 1997 he worked as an assistant and then assistant professor of the Chair of Civil Law at the Universidad de Chile. Since 1999 he is a professor of Civil Law at the Universidad del Desarrollo.

 

In addition, he has taught several majoring courses in civil matters.

 

He is the author of several articles and monographs on matters of his specialty and, on behalf of the Editorial Jurídica de Chile, he collaborated updating the Manual of Civil Law, by Mr. Ramón Meza Barros.

 

He is an arbitrator for the Arbitration and Mediation Center (CAM) of Santiago since 2009.

Member of the Chilean Bar Association, trade association in which he has served as Director since 2011, and as Vice Chairman in 2018.

 

President of the Chilean Bar Association for the 2024-2025 term.
